Open Claude settings
In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors.

Add a custom connector
Click 'Add custom connector', name it TubeScribed, and paste the connector URL.

Click Connect, sign in with your TubeScribed account, and click Allow.

Under the hood
Four tools Claude can use
transcribe_video
Pulls the video's captions and returns the transcript. On the API it's cleaned by Claude AI; in Claude it returns raw captions by default (fast), or a cleaned version when you ask.
generate_asset
Turns a video or transcript into a blog post, SOP, email sequence, social posts, show notes, FAQ, training guide and more.
list_asset_types
Returns the full list of asset types with a short description of each.
get_usage
Check how many calls you have left before running a batch.

- Same allowance as the API. Transcriptions and generations in Claude count toward your monthly calls. Failed calls are free.
- Raw captions by default. They return in seconds. Ask Claude for a cleaned transcript when you want one.
- Captions required. Videos need existing captions, including YouTube's automatic ones.
- Long videos. Get the raw transcript first, then generate assets from that text.

Questions about the Claude connector
No. The connector uses secure sign-in: you log in with your TubeScribed account and click Allow. Your key never appears in a URL or a chat.
